Courant: Some Feel Quick Snubbed Hamden

During his day with the Stanley Cup, Jonathan Quick had a party but didn't invite anyone from Hamden, including his former Hamden High School hockey coach.

 

The Hartford Courant reported Friday that some in Hamden feel that local hometown hockey hero Jonathan Quick forgot about his friends here when he brought the Stanley Cup to Connecticut last month.

The Courant reports that Quick, along with each of his Los Angeles Kings teammates, got one day to do what they wanted with the famed cup, and Quick chose to host a party in Greenwich.

The guest list included many from Avon Old Farms, which he attended after leaving Hamden High, but no one from Hamden.
