“The day’s activities were designed to help build our students’ self-esteem by having them help to teach their friends," said Shihan Frank Ciarleglio, a 5th Degree Black Belt and Instructor at the Academy.

"The students work hard to understand the Martial Arts movements we teach, and the contests chosen for the day helped to enlighten our students and show them how well they are doing with understanding those movements," Ciarleglio said. "Our students also were very successful in explaining and demonstrating the school rules (respect, self-control and self-discipline). I was very proud to see how well the students were able to help their guests to understand some of the things we do here at the Academy,”
