Hamden Police are looking for information about a man who grabbed a phone from a 21-year-old Hamden woman while on a Connecticut Transit bus last week.

At about 8:30 a.m. Jan. 30, police got the report of the theft in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Church Street, police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith said.

The woman was sitting on the bus texting on her phone when a dark-skinned teen ages 16 to 18, about 5'7" with a thin build, wearing a blak hoodie and dark jeans grabbed the phone from her hands and fled the bus, Smith said.

The victim chased the man, who was last seen running south on Garden Street, Smith said.
