Bobcats Match Best Start In Program History; Improve to 16-2.

Junior Camyrn Warner registered her second career double-double on Saturday afternoon as the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team defeated Fairleigh Dickinson, 66-39, at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the win, the Bobcats improved to 16-2 overall and 7-0 in NEC play – matching the best start to a season in program history.

Warner paced the Bobcats offense with a career-high 15 points, going 6-of-12 from the floor, grabbed 11 rebounds and had three blocks in the win. Jasmine Martin and Felicia Barron joined Warner in double-figures with 16 and 10 points, respectively, as Martin extended her streak with 10 points or more to 13 straight games. Shooting woes plagued both teams in the opening stanza, as neither team managed a separation of more than six points. Martin was the bright spot for Quinnipiac, collecting 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting – including 3-of-3 from behind the arc; but Stephanie Isaac and Desiree Crawford countered by combining for 13 points to keep it close. The Bobcats carried five-point edge, 31-26, into the locker rooms at halftime.

After the break, Quinnipiac owned the next 10 minutes of action as the home team used an 18-7 run to open a double-digit advantage. The Bobcats entered the game with a scoring margin of plus-11 and added to their season average with a 27 point win at the end of regulation.

Dressed in pink socks for the game, Quinnipiac coaches and players supported the "Play 4Kay" initiative which is designed to help raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2 million to support women's cancer research.
