St. Luke's Steel Drum Band To Perform in Hamden

The high-energy, award winning band, with members of all ages, is hailed as one of the most unique and exciting performing ensembles in Connecticut.

 

The  Hamden  Arts  Commission completes its  2012-2013 Peter C. Hereld Sunday Performance Series on  March 3, 2 pm, with a concert by the St. Luke's Steel Drum Band entitled "Joyous Sounds of the Caribbean.". 

 The high-energy, award winning band, with members of all ages, is hailed as one of the most unique and exciting performing ensembles in Connecticut.  Their repertoire includes calypso, reggae, popular, classical and island folk music.

 The event will be held in the handicapped-accessible Thornton Wilder Hall, Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave. Admission is $7 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens, students and children 12 and under. Tickets are sold at the door only.
