Academy of Kempo Martial Arts - 2nd Annual Haturday

Please join us this Saturday, April 20, 2013 between the times of 8:00am and 11:30am for our 2nd Annual Haturday! The Academy of Kempo Martial Arts located at 1890 Dixwell Avenue is collecting money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for their Pennies for Patients Annual Collection. We are asking students, parents and friends of the Academy to donate 50 Cents to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and wear their most creative hat on Saturday. All of the money collected will go towards the Academy of Kempo’s goal to raise $250.00 dollars by the end of April. So please wear your hat for our 2nd Annual Haturday and help to make a change with your change and beat cancer. We will be taking pictures of the hats so be creative, make your own if you want and we will post them on Facebook for a Haturday contest. The contest will be a week long and whichever hat get the most votes will win an Academy of Kempo Martial Arts hat. This contest is opened to all of the Academy of Kempo students, family members and friends. All you have to do is stop in with your hat, your 50 Cent donation and have your picture taken, it is that simple.
