29 Inducted to Science National Honor Society @ Sacred Heart Academy

On September 19, the Sacred Heart Academy Science National Honor Society inducted 29 new members, joining six returning members.

Members of this Honor Society must meet strict requirements of grade point average and science class enrollment to qualify for membership.

Science National Honor Society at Sacred Heart is active in tutoring, hosting Mole Day activities, and running the school Science Fair in February, among other science related events.

The induction was held in conjunction with that of Mu Alpha Theta, the Mathematics Honor Society at the Academy.

Sacred Heart Academy, an independent college preparatory school founded in 1946 by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, successfully prepares young women in grades 9 – 12 for learning, service and achievement in a global society.

There are 500 plus students hailing from New Haven, Fairfield, Middlesex, Hartford and New London counties.
