HAMDEN, CT Non-Profit Connecticut Spirit All-Stars unveiled its new logo this Sunday at its’ annual Spirit Day, held this weekend for the general public and student families. The logo was revealed to attendees as part of CSA’s new “Spirit Skills Club” achievement rewards program, in which students are congratulated and rewarded when new skills are acquired as a result of hard work and training.
Over 300 people participated in the day’s activities which developed community spirit and celebrated CSA’s “Three Locations, One Family” philosophy. The day culminated with an amazing gym-wide pyramid, with over 100 athletes participating in a multiple-level human pyramid (see photo). Other events included All-Star Cheerleading 101, a giant-sized bounce house, a parents’ dance class, and a self-defense class.
“Being a non-profit organization, we at the Spirit Zone feel it is critical to our mission to continue giving back in the communities that support us. We offer a unique way for kids from all walks of life and of all ages to experience the world of Competitive Cheerleading and Tumbling”, stated Owner Robin Coe.
SPIRIT ZONE is part of Connecticut Spirit All-Stars; Connecticut’s premier cheerleading, gymnastics and tumbling training center, based in Hamden, CT, with additional locations in Greenwich and East Windsor. They are leaders in the world of competitive cheerleading and tumbling. They offer world-class tumbling for all ages, all-star cheerleading competing teams (ages 3 & older), open gym, birthday parties and more. The Hamden location presented 12 teams last year and secured over two dozen National and Grand National Championships throughout the season.
Competitive Cheerleading is one of the fastest growing competitive sports in America. Participants train intensely and compete on local, regional, and national levels.
