A 30 year resident of North Haven, McGeorge is a member of the Connecticut Educational Association and has been a special education teacher in New Haven. She is also a volunteer with JHA New Haven community home of the aged, enjoys gardening, home staging, interior design and hiking. As well as being a teacher, McGeorge has also worked as a business analyst and project manager. McGeorge holds a Masters of Science degree in Special Education, Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education and attended Oxford Health Plan’s business training program.
