New Law Protects Tethered Dogs from Weather

CT Public Act 13-189 now prohibits dogs from being tethered outdoors during severe weather.  This includes heat advisories.  Please call your local animal control officer, the police or the State Dept. of Agriculture, Animal Control Division, if you see a dog tied out during extreme weather.
