Quinnipiac University appoints New London resident as special events coordinator

Charity Stout, of New London, has been appointed special events coordinator at Quinnipiac University.

In her new position, Stout is responsible for collaborating with campus constituencies, vendors and speakers involved in planning special events at the university.

“I can’t wait to create events that bring in special guests who will educate and inspire students and faculty alike,” Stout said.

Stout is a member of the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International and the North American Association of Commencement Officers.

Before working at Quinnipiac, Stout worked as a senior project manager at TicketNetwork. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Quinnipiac.
