5 Hamden Residents on a Minor Pro Football Team

Several Hamden residents play professional football.

Scott Wescott (54) played in the Connecituct Chief's first preseason game yesterday against the DC Bears for a 36-18 win.
Scott, who is a 2009 Hamden High School graduate, signed with the Chiefs this season and is part of it's starting line up. 
Standing at 6'2" and 270 pounds, Scott held back the bears and made it possible for Quarterback Dino Mancinelli (5) to throw 4 touchdown passes. 
The next game is July 12th. There are a total of 5 men from Hamden on the team. Josh Smart (9), Carmine Baldino (35), Tevin Moye (21), and Keenan Simms.
