Approximately 2 years old..approximately 25lbs...This boy needs to go to an experienced home who can deal with tempermental dogs. He has good moments and then has moments he will snarl and snap.

He was found living on the street with another dog but the other dog took off and was never captured..(heartbroken?..maybe) Hes good on leash, likes to be picked up (SOMETIMES), he's good with dogs he met.. NO SMALL CHILDREN. LEGAL DAY OF ADOPTION IS 12-7

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering a dog from City of Hartford Animal Shelter must first fill out an application. We are in the process of working to set up a link for an on line application, in the meantime please email us at ctshelterdogs@gmail.com and we will send you the application.

Sherry the ACO will review all applications prior to setting up appointments to meet the dogs. We are moving forward to establish a more thorough screening process to ensure these dogs end up in responsible homes.
