Cocoa Still Needs a Home

Abandoned by her former family, the pit mix at the North Haven Animal Shelter desperately needs a new home.

Cocoa is still waiting for her forever home. She has been at the North Haven Animal Shelter (which shares space with Hamden Animal Control) for a while and needs out!

From her Petfinder page:

Cocoa (also known as Vivian) is a very sweet gentle girl. She was found running on the road with her friend Dots when a nice person stopped and picked them both up. We can tell she has had a few litters and we want to make sure no one ever does that to her again.

She is full of life and love and energy, all she wants to do is be by your side. She is wonderful with children and is a super fast learner.

She does have to be the only dog in the home. She knows commands and does not pull on the leash when walked.Come on down and meet her and all our other animals looking for forever homes.
