Hamden Elks Honor Three for Service to the Community



The Hamden Community Service Awards Dinner held Saturday honored three outstanding men for their service to Hamden.

The annual awards event is sponsored by the Hamden Elks, serving Hamden and North Haven.

Shown at the ceremony are, left to right: Mayor Scott Jackson, Hamden Lodge President Alton Hudson, Citizen of the Year Daniel Levy, Police Chief Thomas Wydra, Police Officer of the Year Michael Doherty, Firefighter of the Year Kevin A. Martin, Fire Chief David Berardesca, with Hamden Lodge and CT Elks Association Past President Phil Wilson.
