Toys, Coats and Food Accepted at Libraries

It's the time of year when people's thoughts turn to giving, and here's how you can help out your neighbors in need.

The town's annual toy drive starts Nov. 23 in conjunction with the Quinnipiac Bank and Trust Coat Drive and the ongoing Hamden Food Bank drive.

Beginning Nov. 23, all three Hamden libraries are participating in the town-wide collection of new, unwrapped toys to be distributed through the Keefe Center in December, coats for children and adults for the Quinnipiac Bank & Trust Company’s Coat Drive and the ongoing collection of non-perishable food for the Hamden Food Bank.

All items can be dropped off at Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Ave., Brundage Community Branch at 91 Circular Ave. and Whitneyville Branch at 125 Carleton St.
