As planned, Hamden Public Library’s year-long study of the efficacy of Saturday hours at the branches continues this spring with a second pilot project.
Beginning Saturday, March 3, Brundage Community Branch at 91 Circular Ave. will be open Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow neighborhood residents an opportunity to borrow and return materials, use computers and other library services on the weekend—the only time when some patrons can get to the library.
A similar project at Whitneyville Branch in the fall met with great success.
