Quinnipiac University Spring Concert

The QU Singers will perform a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, in the Clarice L. Buckman Theater on Quinnipiac University’s Mount Carmel Campus.

This event is free and open to the public.

The choral concert, under the direction of Fred Rossomando, a part-time faculty member at Quinnipiac, will feature an eclectic repertoire. Selections include songs from “Cabaret,” “Summer Breeze” and “You & I,” an original piece titled “Depend on Me” and George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”

Two new arrangements of Roy Orbison’s “Crying” and “Iko, Iko” also will be performed. The finale will be a medley of songs by Buddy Holly and The Everly Brothers.

In addition, pre-concert music will be provided by the QU Jazz Ensemble in the lobby beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information, please contact fred.rossomando@quinnipiac.edu.
