Hamden Summer Concert Series Continues With The 5th Dimension Tonight (July 11)
Grammy Ward-winning group performs at 8:15 p.m., opening act Twilight Nuages begins the show at 7:30 p.m.
The Grammy Award-winning group The 5th Dimension will perform with Florence LaRue tonight (July 11) at Hamden Town Center Park (2761 Dixwell Ave.) as part of the town's free summer concert series.
The 5th Dimension, which was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2002, became popular in the 1960s and 70s with such hits as Up and Away, Stoned Soul Picnic, Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In, One Less Bell to Answer, Go Where You Wanna Go, Wedding Bell Blues, and I Didn't Get to Sleep at All.
Twilight Nuages is the opening act, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The 5th Dimension will perform at 8:15 p.m.
