Take a Day Trip This Fall with Hamden Adult Ed

Hamden Adult Education is offering several trips at affordable prices this fall.

The Hamden Adult Education Department is offering the following bus trips for Fall 2013:

  • November 9th:  Christmas Festival at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA.  This award winning craft show is one of the largest craft shows in New England featuring holiday decorations, jewelry, pottery, art and delicious foods to buy and sample.  There are over 300 crafters at this event.  $65
  • December 7th: Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Historic Trinity Church, Boston, MA.  Begin your day with a guided tour of Trinity Church.  Enjoy murals, mosaics, stained glass and breathtaking spires.  Free time at the Prudential Center for unique shops and restaurants which each person will get a discount shopper card.  Then off to the Gardner Museum, a stunning Venetian palace in the heart of Boston. $89
  • December 14th: Stocking Stuffer Holiday Romp, Pioneer Valley of Central MA.  Each person will get a stocking to fill along the way.  Our first stop is at Kringle Candle where you can shop their store and Christmas barn.  We then will enjoy lunch at Whately Inn where the menu will be: chowder, fresh baked rolls, and your choice of baked stuffed capon or baked scrod, veggies, potato, dessert and coffee.  We will then be traveling to two markets, Atkins Farms Country Market and Thorne’s Marketplace.  $90

All trips include round-trip motor coach transportation.
