Hamden EDC Reschedules Speaker Series

The Hamden Economic Development Commission Speaker Series has a new schedule due to the blizzard; the first session on Financing Energy Efficient Improvements in Commercial Buildings for Any Business is now on Tuesday, March 12.

 

Because of the February blizzard, the Hamden Economic Development Commission has rescheduled the first session of its 2013 speaker series for Tuesday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room on the third floor of the Government Center.

March 12th (Tuesday 5:30 P.M.): Topic: Connecticut Commercial and IndustrialHow to make your business energy efficient through a proposed new State program.

C- PACE or Property Assessed Clean Energy Program is a tax lien financing program that allows interested parties to finance qualifying energy efficiency and clean energy improvements.

It is anticipated that there will be considerable interest in this presentation. The room has limited capacity so please RSVP to Dale Kroop at 203-287-7033 or dkroop@hamden.com.

2. Tuesday April 9th at 5:30 p.m.: The Connecticut Community Investment Corporation andthe Hamden Business Assistance Center will discuss SBA financing and technical assistanceto help your business grow.

3. Tuesday, May 14th at 5:30 P.M.: Workforce Training Programs: CT Works will discuss Step Up Program and other program opportunities and services for training employees.You will learn about how to access funding to train employees.
