Labor Dept. Job Fair in Cromwell Tuesday

Companies hiring will be on hand for on-site interviews.

Representatives from more than 40 companies will be on hand tomorrow, June 21 at the Crowne Plaza, located at 110 Berlin Road in Cromwell, for the Middlesex County Career Fair.  

The event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Alliance Workforce Investment Board. 

Members of the Connecticut Department of Labor’s team of Nationally Certified Professional Résumé Writers will be on hand throughout the day to review visitor’s résumés and lend advice and assistance at no charge.

Among the participating companies will be Clear Channel Radio Connecticut, Comcast, Health at Home, MTU Aero Engines North America, PTE Energy, TD Bank and Verizon Wireless. Admission are free.  

Job seekers are reminded to bring along plenty of résumés, dress to impress, and be ready to meet on-site with prospective employers.
