Recipes Wanted for Hamden Chamber Cookbook

The Hamden Chamber of Commerce is compiling a town-wide cookbook, and your favorite recipe can be part of it.

 

The Hamden Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that it will be creating Hamden's first town wide cookbook.

This beautifully designed book will feature signature recipes from local restaurants, businesses, Chamber members and Hamden residents.  This is not just an ordinary cookbook, it will also serve as a guide to historical landmarks and showcase all that Hamden has to offer!  

This community cookbook will be sold at local restaurants and businesses throughout Hamden.  

For $30 residents can submit a recipe and receive this unique keepsake for families, clients and friends. 

We want your recipes, your Grandma's recipes, your family favorites!! 

Don't miss out! Follow these simple steps....

1. Decide the food category for your recipe.  

Please select from the following:

  • Appetizers
  • Beverages
  • Soup & Salads
  • Veggies & Side Dishes
  • Entrees
  • Light & Healthy
  • Desserts

2. Follow this guideline:

  • Name of recipe 
  • Ingredients: List them with the right measuring unit
  • Directions: break them into easy 1.2.3...Easy and clear directions.  
  • Temperature or chilling is if applicable.
  • Your name, company name, address, phone number, and company's website.

3. Type it into email format, word document, or pdf file.

4. Proof read! Make sure you are not forgetting any ingredients, measurements or steps. 

5. Send your payment of $30 to the Hamden Chamber of Commerce

Yes, trust the state legislators, as we trusted the Social Security was supposed to be held In escrow, what happened? THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
