VISION FOR VACANCIES: Stop and Shop Plaza

There's one vacant store at the very end of the Stop and Shop Plaza on Dixwell Avenue across from the Hamden Mart. What would you like to see go in there?

The Stop and Shop Plaza across from the Hamden Mart on Dixwell Avenue is a popular place. Aside from Super Stop and Shop, it also houses big names like Old Navy, Staples and TJ Maxx.

But at the very end of the plaza is a vacant space that has is just waiting for something to move into it.

Being at the end, it's not as visible as the other stores. But it has a parking lot all its own on the side of the building, and one of the plaza entrances leads right to the storefront. With proper signage and promotion, it could be as prominent as any of its neighbors.

What would you like to see go in there? What kind of use do you think is most appropriate for that space? Let us know in the comments.
