Academy of Kempo Martial Arts Food Drive Benefits St. Ann's

The martial arts school collected food for St. Ann's Soup Kitchen, and is still accepting donations from the public.

Recently the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts of Hamden recentlydropped off their donation of food to Saint Ann’s Soup Kitchen.

The students, families and friends of the Academy generously donated five boxes of non-perishable food items.

There are many people who have very limited resources available to them and each year it seems to get worse.

The food pantries, as well as soup kitchens, need as much support as they can get to help the people in need. It is very important for people to remember that food is needed all year long, not just throughout the holiday season.

If you wish to still contribute food, you can drop it off at the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts, located at 1890 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and they will make sure it gets to either Saint Ann’s Soup Kitchen or the Hamden Food Bank.

Please call 203 288-9990 to make arrangement for a time to drop off your donation.

The Academy thanks all the people who have helped to support this food drive.
