Applications Accepted for Sandillo Scholarship
Gloria Sandillo was a long-time Hamden Democratic party activist who died in 2007 and a scholarship will be presented to a Hamden student in her honor.
The Hamden Democratic Town Committee is sponsoring a scholarship in honor of Gloria C. Sandillo.
Sandillo was a long-time party activist whose untimely death two days before the November, 2007 election shocked the community.

A scholarship will be presented to a Hamden student who is a senior and meets the following criteria:
- Hamden resident
- Registered Democrat
- Background in community service
