Bite Nearby: Park Central Tavern

A Place Worth Waiting For

For more than two years, has served up meals at 1640 Whitney Ave. in Hamden's historic Spring Glen neighborhood.

The restaurant landscape fits right into the local scenery. The exterior is beautifully adorned with a brick façade giving it an inviting look to go in. Once you step inside, the casual atmosphere invites you to sit down and grab a menu. With a finely crafted wood interior you feel like you have stepped in elegance and comfort.

PCT offers an adult atmosphere with fine dinning, drinks and entertainment.  Their menu has many items to choose from. Returning often is the only answer to sampling everything. Once you taste the food you will agree.

To begin your eating experience, start with an appetizer out of the ordinary.  Escargot, or Sesame and Coriander Tuna will wake up your taste buds.  For lunch, try a dish of Wild Mushroom Ravioli served with pesto, goat cheese, and red bell pepper puree or an Angus Sirloin, grilled with herb butter.

Dinner offers crusted Crab Sole, Grilled a Double Cut Pork Chop or Veal Milanese, to name a few. Top it all off with desserts that will surely make your month water. For a lighter fare try one of their soups and/or salads enough to satisfy your hunger. There is never a shortage of choices.

The drink menu is as equally as impressive as the food. With specialty drinks, fine wines, by the bottle or the glass.

All dishes are prepared fresh on the premises and all ingredients are purchased locally when possible.

PCT also offers a tavern menu for those who just need a little something.  Come for Happy Hour or to enjoy the entertainment. End a hard work day with a refreshing drink or late night snack. What ever time you decide to stop in, PCT has all the ingredients to make your visit enjoyable.
