Drug Trafficker Gets 30 Months for Crack Sales in Hamden

The sentence is part of an investigation by the Hamden Police with the Safe Streets Task Force.

A New Haven man who was arrested last year in of cocaine and crack trafficking in New Haven and was sentenced this week.

The New Haven Register reported that Ernest Harold, 21, also known as "Nesto," was sentenced in federal court to 30 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, according to U.S. Attorney David B. Fein.

Harold was among dozens of individuals who were charged in investigation by the New Haven Safe Streets Task Force, which was led by the FBI and included investigators from the Hamden Police Department along with other local police departments and the State Police.
