Students from a school in New Haven this week learned about pets and pet adoption when they served an internship at ’s Petco, which also this weekend in Milford.
According to an article by the New Haven Register, 12 students from the St. Martin de Porres Academy served internships with the North Shore Animal League at the Petco store at Skiff Street and Dixwell Avenue.
The fifth graders learned how to care for pets and to assist at pet adoptions and at animal shelters.
