Laura Ogonowski, a 2008 Quinnipiac University alumna whose father, John Ogonowski, died when he was piloting American Airlines Flight 11 — the first plane to be hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 — returned to Quinnipiac Friday to share her story.
Ogonowski was one of the featured speakers for “How 9/11 Changed the World,” Quinnipiac’s commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
