Updated 4 p.m.

This isn't the contest we want to win, but with updated numbers in, Hamden is now Number One.

Yes, according to the National Weather Service, Hamden, with the updated total of 40", got the most snow in the tri-state region.

Milford is now #2 with 38", followed by Clintonville with 37" and Oxford with 36.2".

Original Story:

We're number three.

And in this case, that's not too good.

According to the National Weather Service, Hamden received 36" of snow from the blizzard, the third highest total behind Milford at 38" and Oxford at 36.2".

The NWS has snow totals here for Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, as well as wind gusts. The winner in that category is Westport, which saw 82MPH gusts around 11 p.m. last night. In the New Haven area, the highest gusts were around 47 MPH around 9 p.m.
