Hamden to Hold Candlelight Vigil Sunday Evening
The town will honor the victims of the Newtown shooting with a candlelight vigil at Town Center Park.
The Town of Hamden will hold a candlelight vigil in Honor of Sandy Hook Elementary School on Sunday evening, Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. The vigil will be held at Town Center Park near the Gazebo. All are invited to attend.
Mayor Scott Jackson and representatives from the Human Rights and Relations Commission will lead the service.
Residents are encouraged to please bring candles or flashlights as only few will be available to hand out.
