Jupiter, Venus and the Moon: 'Astronomical' Trio Visible In the Skies

Jupiter and Venus will be quite visible and bright this weekend: Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26.

This weekend -- Saturday, Feb. 25, through Sunday, Feb. 26 -- Jupiter, Venus and the moon will line up and this triple wonder will be visible from the city and country alike.

The scenario is known as a triple conjunction, according to the Space.com website. Look to the west after sunset on Saturday to see the trio.

But if the are enough to keep you inside, you can watch the skies online, on the SLOOH SpaceCam website, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
