With the first day of school just around the corner, what better way to celebrate the end of summer with Keefe Fest?
Keefe Fest 2012 will be held Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the parking lot of the Margaret L. Keefe Community Center, 11 Pine St. The parking lot is located at corner of Dixwell Avenue and George Street.
Keefe Fest features family entertainment, including Clink the Clown, a moon bounce, DJ Brian Poole, face painting, arts activities with folks from the Eli Whitney Museum and P.L.A.C.E., exhibits from the Peabody Museum and Hamden Fire Department, video games, giveaways and information for Hamden residents.
Free lunch, popcorn, and ice cream will also be provided.
