Library's Mitten Tree Waiting for Donations

The annual Mitten Tree is up at Miller Library and ready for anyone wanting to hang a pair of gloves or mittens to go t a needy family.

Miller Memorial Library’s traditional Mitten Tree now stands in the building’s rotunda awaiting holiday donations.

Crafters and other generous library users are invited to make or purchase mittens, gloves and other winter accessories for children and adults to decorate the tree.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable foods are also being collected at all three library locations. All items will be given to needy Hamden families.
