NHR: Facilities Administrator Retires from Quinnipiac

With and , Quinnipiac University in is hardly finished growing, but university leaders recently recognized a colleague who helped make the school what it is today.
The New Haven Register reported that at Joseph Rubertone’s retirement dinner recently, University President John Lahey called the outgoing vice president for facilities administration “Six-Times Joe” for guiding the university through its period of growth.

Since Rubertone was hired in 1973, Quinnipiac’s campus acreage, building floor space and facilities staff employees have all increased roughly sixfold, Lahey said.
