Trace Your Family History at the Hamden Library

The Southern Connecticut Ancestry Network Inc. will host its Introduction to Genealogy introductory course to genealogy and family history at Miller Library next month.

Have you ever wondered where you came from but didn't know where to begin to find out?

The Southern Connecticut Ancestry Network Inc. will host its Introduction to Genealogy one- to two-hour introductory course to genealogy and family history on March 16 at 10 a.m. at Miller Memorial Library.

The course will cover the following topics:

Where to Begin
Essential Forms for Collecting Family Information
Organizing Your Genealogy Documents
Proper Documentation and Citation of Sources
Vital Records
Census Records
City Directories
Genealogy Software
