Can't make it to the Bronx Sunday night? The Bronx will be coming to you, thanks to the Town of Hamden, Comcast, and ESPN.
On Sunday, Aug. 19 a telecast of the Red Sox vs. Yankees will be aired on the 40-foot big screen in Town Center Park at Meadowbrook.
The event, a live simulcast of the popular rivalry, is a co-operation between the town, Comcast, and ESPN.
“Hamden is the perfect place to host this event," Center Park Commission Chairman Matthew Fitch said. "Connecticut is right in the center of Red Sox/ Yankee rivalry-- this means that all of our residents will be able to enjoy the telecast and cheer on their favorite baseball team.”
