Hamden Youth Council Attends Anti-Underage Drinking Event

The Hamden Youth Advisory Council promoted their 'Positive Choices' program at the 'Set The Rules' campaign launch at the state capitol.

The Youth Advisory Council, which recently teamed up with the Hamden High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club , recently participated with other community youth organizations in a media event at the state capitol.

An article by the Post-Chronicle said members of the Council attended the “Set The Rules” event in Hartford to hear speakers including Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, OPM Undersecretary Michael Lawlor, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Commissioner Pat Rehmer and State Trooper Kelly Grant launch the “Set The Rules” campaign in Connecticut.

The campaign’s messages are underage drinking is illegal and also dangerous to a developing brain.
