CAMPAIGN 2013: Jackson Hosts 'Coffee with the Mayor'

From the Jackson for Hamden campaign:

Mayor Scott D. Jackson and the Jackson for Hamden campaign committee will host several “Coffee with the Mayor Night” events designed to allow citizens to meet with the mayor, ask questions, raise concerns and discuss important issues.

The first of these events will be this Thursday, Oct. 3 at Books and Company, 1235 Whitney Ave. at the  corner of Whitney and Putnam avenues. The discussion will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.The event is free to the public and coffee and treats will be served.

“I’m hosting these events in neighborhoods throughout town to create a relaxed atmosphere where residents can come in a more informal way to talk about what is important to them,” Jackson said.  “I want to hear from our residents about ideas, concerns, questions and goals for Hamden.”
