The Baby goats have arrived at Hindinger Farm

Hi everyone,It sure has been a busy few weeks. We just got through pruning our Peach Trees (The snow held us back a bit), and we had to get the stand ready. We have lots of great new products in the stand, new Cheese, flavored almonds, Dip mixes, new gift items, lots more! I have been using the dip mixes to flavor all kinds of food. I used the Chipoltle Garlic on my turkey Breast and grilled, and I just used the Mediterranian  with fresh tomatoes on my chicken and baked it. Yummy! We have lots of great produce including native Spinach and our own Asparagus. We had a new arrival of 2 baby girl goats. They are adorable. Our neighbors Allison and Jeff raised them , and they are only 2 months old!  They are happy in the new pen we built. They don’t realize yet, but they have the best view of New Haven in town!.We are planting away like crazy! Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Cut flowers and Kohlrabi just went into the ground. Our Corn , Beans, Peas and Cucumbers are already up and running. We plant these crops frequently so we have plenty to last the summer and fall. Hope to see everyone soon! It is great to see everyone again, and check out how big all the kids got.
The Strawberry Festival is coming on June 15th. Mark it down on your calendars.    We are pleased that Glenwood is coming back and Kelly is making her delicious Strawberry Ice cream from our Strawberries. Brian will be making Balloon animals, and we will have a Basketball and Baseball toss. Of course there will be Strawberry Shortcake and Rides through the farm. Mark it on your calendars.
