Come play in the park at the 14th Annual Brooksvale
Fall Festival to be held at Brooksvale Park in Hamden on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 11am-4pm. Come for horse drawn hay rides, tractor drawn wagon rides, pony rides (1-3pm only!), The Reptile House, Children’s Game & Activities at KidZone, Environmental Education booths, lively music, HPD K-9 demonstrations, Wingmasters Birds of Prey in the Big Red Barn, great food and more! Come & see the New Animal Barn made possible by a donation from the Friends of Brooksvale Park, Inc. supported by a generous matching grant awarded by a private New England Family Foundation.
Take a chance for a $5 donation and you could win a beautiful handmade wood birdhouse replica of the New Animal Barn made by friend of the park, Pete Laffin. Go see him and Fred McCarthy in the new barn during the festival. Proceeds will go to the Friends group to continue bettering the park for all!
Parking is FREE. Many FREE activities. Some require ticket purchase. Food from area vendors will be available for purchase. No Credit or Debit Cards. CASH ONLY.
