The Town of Hamden announces its 2012-2013 Series of Free Family Movies on Friday nights at the Keefe Community Center.

Movies begin at 7 pm. Beginning at 6 pm, families can participate in a craft project based on the movie and designed by the Eli Whitney Museum. Attendees also will be treated to free popcorn and juice.

On February 15, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!" (G) will be presented. This Disney animated feature film focuses on the smallest pup in the chihuahua family who finds a way to feel special.

The event is sponsored by Hamden’s Departments of Arts, Recreation and Culture, Community Services and Youth Services, with support from the Eli Whitney Museum and Best Video of Hamden. The movie will be held in the gymnasium of the M.L. Keefe Community Center, located on the corner of Dixwell Avenue and Pine Street (diagonally across from Burger King). Access to the parking lot is through the rear of the center. For information, call (203) 287-2546.
