Hamden's Arts, Recreation & Culture Department announces the 2012-2013 Peter C. Hereld Sunday Performance Series . The series has been retitled in gratitude to Mr. Hereld, a former Hamden Arts Commissioner, for his generous support of this program.
A unique five member group, Sambeleza, will take the Hamden stage for the first time on February 10 . Sambeleza will perform "Brazilian Songs with a Twist."
All events will be held in the handicapped-accessible Thornton Wilder Hall, Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden. Admission is $7 general admission/ $5 for senior citizens, students and children 12 and under. Tickets are sold at the door only.
