The Saecula Women’s Choir, under the direction of Thomas Brand, will present a Choral Evensong Service and Concert on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 5:00pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 768 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. This performance is the official debut of the Saecula Women’s Choir, a choir comprised of alumnae and several current choristers of the nationally renowned Elm City Girls’ Choir, which is based in New Haven, CT. The service music will include choral settings of traditional Evensong texts as well as contemporary arrangements of hymns and folksongs. A reception will follow the service.
Tickets are available in advance for a suggested donation of $5 or at the door for $10. Proceeds will benefit the St. John’s Music Program and the United Choir School Scholarship Fund. For further information or to reserve tickets, please e-mail ecgcalum@gmail.com.

If you notice all cities with the democratic party in charge in the U.S. has the same problems. Start with New Haven, Hamden, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans, they all have the same problems. Welfare, union legacy costs, taxation, North Haven seems to be run better, must check that out. Don't know if that is a democrat or not.

Beth there is so much abuse in this town it is ridiculous. How about getting stopped for seat belt…Read More violations when most of the police do not wear them, or when they use cell phones instead of hands free devices. Could go on and on but who cares it will change NOTHING.
