Looking for an activity with the kids?   Need ideas for day trips?  We've got you covered!  Why not take the kids for a day trip into New Haven?  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1.)  First stop 10am - Yale Peabody Museum located at 170 Whitney Avenue  in New Haven, CT 06511.  Beginning December 15, the Museum will host the interactive traveling exhibition Seasons of Change, which illustrates climate change in New England. Come see how sea level changes will affect coastal Connecticut, how the habitats of some of our most iconic plants and animals are already in decline, and how these changes will shape the New England of the future. http://peabody.yale.edu.   On weekends parking in the Peabody lot, and in the adjacent Yale parking lots, is free and open to the public.

2.)  Lunch Time 12pm- Walk down the street and grab some lunch at Pure Health Lounge located at 99 Audubon Street, New Haven, CT 06510.  Try their veggie extreme sandwich or pineapple smoothie... yummmmmm. www.facebook.com/purehealthloungenewhaven.

3.)  Okay, okay, so you need a little taste of something sweet.  We understand.  After finishing your lunch, walk across the street to Katalina's Cupcakes located at 74 Whitney Ave. where you will find the most delicious assortment of cupcakes from red velvet to funny bones (how nostalgic)! If the funny bone cupcakes bring you back in time and you have a few more minutes for a stroll, check out Katahdin Furniture located at 60 Whitney Ave., just a few doors down from Katalina's.  He carries an assortment of toys that your kids will enjoy and it'll bring you back in time!

while receiving Staples Rewards does help defray the cost of supplies for the teachers, they areRead More STILL putting cash out of their own pockets! This should not be. But Kudos to the teachers who put their students above their own financial situation. The Town and parents should be footing the costs, not the teachers.
