"The Lorax" at the Keefe Community Center

The Town of Hamden announces its 2012-2013 Series of Free Family Movies on Friday nights at the Keefe Community Center.

Movies begin at 7 pm. Beginning at 6 pm, families can participate in a craft project based on the movie and designed by the Eli Whitney Museum. Attendees also will be treated to free popcorn and juice.

The series opens on October 26 with "The Lorax" (PG), an animated comedy by Universal Pictures voiced by Zac Efron and Taylor Swift. The imaginative world of Dr. Seuss comes to life in this adventure from the creators of "Despicable Me."
