Traditional Irish Music Session

Join  button accordion maestro John Whelan and guest musicians from the tri-state area for an evening of traditional Irish music sponsored by the P.V. O’Donnell Comhaltas.  The session, which is free, starts at 7:45 pm and all are welcome to attend.  BYOB, refreshments served.

Winner of 7 All-Ireland titles, John Whelan was chosen the international Irish Music Association’s top button accordion player in 2009 and 2011.  He recorded his first record at the age of 14, and went on to produce many albums, including Celtic Crossroads which spent more than 2 months in the top 10 of Billboard’s world music charts.
