Do You Know How to Prevent Cervical Cancer?

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month.  Nearly 20 million Americans currently have human papillomavirus (HPV), the most common sexually transmitted disease.  What’s worse is that HPV is a major cause of cervical cancer.

However, cervical cancer can be prevented.  Cervical cancer screenings can help detect abnormal cells early, before they turn into cancer.  And, HPV can be prevented by the HPV vaccine.  In honor of National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, ASAP Urgent Care is offering patients:

HIV, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing (suitable for women age 21 and older)
•    $45 (without insurance)
•    Co-pay only (with Insurance)

HPV Gardasil Vaccine (suitable for women ages 11-27 and men ages 11-22)
•    3 Doses at $165 per dose (without insurance)
•    Co-pay only (with Insurance)
