Whitney Center Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Research

Whitney Center staff and residents recently raised $2,210 to donate to breast cancer research.

Events took place over the course of a week on the Whitney Center campus in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including a bake sale, a raffle and a cotton candy and pink bracelet sale.

On Oct. 24, employees and residents, many dressed in pink, wore pink gloves and formed a conga line cheering for the survivors and supporting awareness. The group formed a human ribbon on the campus lawn.

Whitney Center is proud of all who helped to raise awareness in support of breast cancer research.
